I wasn’t sure if my computer was going to come up this morning, or not. Seemed to take forever to get to this point where I can actually type things onto the screen. But, here I am.
There’s a few things coming up. One is something that’s pretty big. Really, I mean . . . big. Can’t tell you what it is right yet, but I can say this: it’s one of those things that only comes at you once a year, and when it does, you take it.
The story I sold back in December is going to see the light of day next month. I discovered that I will have an interview published on 12 May, and I’m thinking it’s going to be a good one. I did one interview already–you’ll find it here, if you’re interested–and I had a blast writing it up. This next one promises to be even better, because the story being published is, um . . . erotica. And very good erotica, if I may say so. Which means there will likely be all the normal erotica questions asked, to which I have a million answers!
It should be most excellent.
I’ve also sent off a story sample–just hold on, it’s not what you think. Some friends of mine are doing one of those “virtual novels”, and they had to shitcan a couple of the writers. So, naturally, moi was asked if I wanted to try out for one of the slots. On the way home from work Monday I came up with the concept for a quick story, the person, and a few other little details, and managed to whip out 600 words in about 30 minutes. Tonight the work gets reviewed, and I’ll see if my name is going to be splashed all over the Internet.
Of course we’ll have to discuss rights and character usage, all the normal stuff . . .
Lately I’ve been dipping my toe into the Pinterest lake, and I’m finding the water to be very nice. I decided to use it as another marketing device, somewhere I could promote my blog and my stories, but of late I’ve been posting a lot cute little pictures, things about love and feelings and things like that, and a lot of people have been re-pinning me. I really do feel like “one of the girls” now (referring to a comment someone made about me about a year ago, and which still brings a smile to my face when I think about it), and I’m enjoying finding things I can either pin or repin to my wall, the things that I think really define me.
It’ll also give me a place to sell my stories, but now I have an urge to put up a board of all the role playing games I like. Yeah, that should freak people out.
The week is almost half over; I’m almost finished editing Chapter 8 of Couples Dance, and thinking about writing the next chapter; I’m thinking of things to add to the world of Annie and Kerry . . . yeah, busy week.
Just the sort of things you’d expect a writer to do, no?

Toss in a few querries about Transporting and Couple’s Dance and then yes, it’s what I’d expect a writer (of your calibur) to be doing
. Seriously though, a full schedule of writing projects is one of the best feelings in the world to me. So write on my friend, write on. And good luck with the “audition”.

Yeah, it seems like it’s starting to really come together now. Oh, and you’ll like how “Couples” is changing. Very nice polish and adds I’m doing.
